We do not want you to rub or massage the area treated for 4 hours after your treatment as we do not want the product to be displaced. Facials, massages, laser treatments, microdermabrasion or any other facial treatments are not recommended for 7-10 days after your treatment. If you are unsure about which treatments are allowed, please contact us to ask.
We also recommend that you do not lie down for 4 hours after your treatment to avoid displacing the product.
Do NOT perform activities involving straining, heavy lifting, or vigorous exercise for 6 hours after treatment.
Makeup is not to be applied for 4-6 hours after treatment.
It takes a full 14 days to see the full result of the neuromodulator. A touch up will not be done before 14 days or after 3 weeks. Any touch-ups are charged to the client per unit unless otherwise discussed prior to your treatment.
Post-Treatment Instructions Dermal Filler
Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area. Unless instructed by the provider.
Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours following your treatment.
Avoid extensive sun or heat (sauna, hot tub) for 72 hours following your treatment.
Avoid consuming alcohol in excessive amounts as this an increase bruising.
Avoid consuming overly salty foods to avoid excess swelling.
If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 20 minutes each hour.
Use Tylenol for discomfort AVOID Advil, aspirin and ibuprofen.
Try to sleep slightly elevated, face up to avoid swelling and displacing the product.
Makeup application is not recommended for 8-12 hours.
Pre-Dermal Filler and Neuromodulator Instructions
Please do not consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment to decrease the risk of bruising.
Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (Advil, Aspirin, Ibuprofen etc.) and blood-thinning medications, (if advised by prescribing physician) if possible for 2 weeks before treatment.
Supplements such as Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, ginseng, St. John's Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements should be avoided as well.
Please try to schedule your injectable appointments at least 2 weeks before any major events as it takes a full two weeks for results and bruising and swelling may occur.
Please do not use Retin A, Vitamin C, AHA/BHA for 24 hours after treatment.
Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area to be treated or if you are feeling unwell or have a fever.
If you have a history of cold sores, please let us know as we may prescribe an anti-viral prior to treatment.
It is recommended to eat a light meal and be hydrated before your appointment to avoid feeling lightheaded during your treatment.
You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and a full consult is always required before your appointment.
Products such as Arnica can be taken before your appointment to help reduce swelling post-treatment.
